Welcome to the Western Districts Trials Club, a moto-trials club affiliated with Motorcycling Queensland (MQ). We were established in 1982, and are an active club in the sport of trials riding (also called 'moto-trials' or 'observed trials').

We welcome members of all ages, grades, and machines, including mini bikes, modern trials bikes, classics, and twin shocks. Regular social and competition events occur throughout the year. There is a great family atmosphere at all our events, with plenty of support whether you are a first-time or experienced trials rider into trials competition or just social riding.

learn how to ride trials

Check out the trials tutorials and trials technique videos on our How to Ride Trials page for beginners through to experienced riders - balancing, full lock turns, zaps, holding pressure, floaters and more. Coaches are available and we run regular practice days. Get into it!

If you are thinking of getting into trials, visit our Interested in Trials? page which will explain the sport, the types of bikes on offer, buying a trials bike and how our club events are run.

cross training

Most of the top riders in extreme enduro, endurocross and hard enduro events are former trials champions. Cross training is the application of trials techniques to enduro and dirt riding. Like to adapt trials techniques to your dirt bike? See our Cross Training page.

our club events

Our events are commonly held at Esk and Deongwar west of Brisbane (hence the 'Western Districts' in our name) but our members can ride in the events of other MQ-affiliated trials clubs so moto-trials events occur almost weekly. These occur north and south of Brisbane in places like Undullah, Canungra, Wyaralong and Conondale. See our Coming Events for details. Directions to our various properties used for trilas are here.
