LOCATIONS & DIRECTIONS TO EVENTS HOSTED BY WDTC

Our trials events mostly occur on the properties below. Locations and directions are included in the supp regs but more detail is provided below in case you have trouble finding the properties. GPS maps and road signage can be poor in rural areas so a backup helps!

You can only ride on these properties as part of a club event or by permission – these are locked at other times and unauthorised visits are seen as trespassing on private property. Riders with an invitation or attending an event will always receive country hospitality – but unauthorised entry is guaranteed a nasty response from property owners or their neighbours!

Rockatoo property, 281 Falls Rd, Esk: All sections are easily accessible for spectators – a few may involve a few minutes walk.

About 3 km east of Esk on the Brisbane Valley Highway, turn into Falls Rd (or Chaille Rd). Drive about 1.5 km on this dirt road ending at an entrance gate marked “Livestock – please keep gate closed”. This road floods after heavy rain so check our Facebook page for updates.

If your GPS plays up a bit with the exact address, try entering “130 Falls Rd Esk” which will get you close to the entrance gate.

Fordsdale – Whites Property, Fordsdale: Spectators will require a moderate level of fitness to walk around a whole lap with one fairly steep track to descend.

Emervale property, Redbank Creek: Lower grade sections easily accessible for spectators. Upper grade sections can involve a short steep walk up the slopes.

Drive 12.5 km southwest from Esk on the Esk-Hampton Rd. Look for a driveway near the yellow “Wildlife” road sign. Directions in a PDF here.

Entering “1190 Esk-Hampton Rd Redbank Creek” in your GPS should get you to within 200m of the front entrance (but is not the exact address!).

“Cooby”, Meringandan: All sections are easily accessible for spectators – most sections can been seen from the camping/pits area.
