TWO WAYS TO JOIN OUR CLUB

The first option (by far the easiest and everyone’s preferred option) is to join online using the Ridernet website. It is quite straight forward and is a paperless system. If you already have a Ridernet ID then logon and buy a membership from the home page. If you don’t have a Ridernet ID then register with Ridernet and it will assign you an ID. This ID will become your license number and will enable you to buy memberships and enter events.

The second option is Come along to our club signup day held in February each year. Check our Facebook page here for the date and location, or our Events  page.

HOW TO OBTAIN AN MA LICENCE

To attend any of our events, you also need an MA licence from Motorcycling Queensland. This provides the necessary insurance at all of our events. You are also covered by a comprehensive insurance policy against permanent disablement or death, as well as many other benefits. This is also available via  Ridernet. More information is available at the Motorcycling Australia Website and the Motorcycle Queensland Website

The MA licence will cost $146 a year for a recreational licence, or $212 a year for Senior National Restricted Licence. Licenses are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
The recreational licence allows you to still enter club competitions and be scored on each section but your score won’t be entered into the competition scores.

Costs for junior riders (under 16) is $138 for a Junior Restricted National Licence.

MA also offers family discounts for multiple Competition Licences (only).  More information is available at the Motorcycle Queensland – Licensing Website

Day licences are available also for most competitions at a cost of $78 online (or $85 at the event) for a competition licence and $32 for a non-competition licence. This is good if you want to try the sport without committing to the cost of a full licence.

WHAT’S THE NEXT STEP?

Read our page about entering a trials event. It tells you where to find the upcoming trials events, how to prepare your bike for them and what happens on the day. You’ll have a ball!
