What’s on in July & August?

Round 4 of the club championship is on the 17th July followed by a midweek event on the 21st July. These events will be at a new location for the WDTC club so it will be interesting to see what the sections will be like.

2022 Qld championships will be held on the 6th & 7th August. This will also be followed by a midweek event on the 10th August (Ekka show holiday)

Head over to the Events page to for more info & links to ridernet to register for the events as well as info on practise/working bees prior to each event.

2022 is Underway

After a successful ‘Summer Series’ consisting of 3 Gate Trials. Round 1 of the club championships and our first Mid-week trial were recently held at Barston.

Round 2 will be our first event at Conondale which isn’t a Twinshock Masters.  The Sunshine Coast Motorcycle Club have advised the recent flooding has caused significant damage. To minimise further damage we will not be using the usual front area. All vehicles and bikes must go to the back paddock where the flat track is.

Where did the year go?

And here we are, Conondale has come and gone and we are winding down for 2019. Our End of Year Break Up Party and AGM is on the 7th December. We will run a practice Gate Trial, hold the AGM and then enjoy woodfired Pizzas and slow-cooked Beef Brisket Burgers. Camping available Saturday night and then we will go for a Mountain Top Ride on the Sunday morning. $10 is all it will cost members and will be alot of fun to round off a great year.

Some like it hot …

WDTC has got off to a cracking start for the 2019 season. Our come and Try day saw over 20 new people have a go and a great day was had by all that attended. This was followed up the next day with our sign on event – Round 1 of the club championship.

It was hot. Very hot. The section setters absolutely nailed it with sections that were challenging but achievable for all classes. It was hot. Some people got their riding done early and retreated to cooler places, some managed to sweat it out. It was hot. All up there was some great riding and that friendly competition we all love about this sport. It was hot. A great start to the championship and did I mention it was hot?
